Our charter, approved by the RBA Board, outlines producing Australian banknotes as our ‘primary function’, with producing banknotes for other issuing authorities and developing and producing passports and other security instruments as a secondary role.

We also work closely with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, in producing e-passports for Australia.
