The Reserve Bank of Australia released the new $10 note on September 20, the second banknote in the series following the release of the $5 note last year.
The design of the new $10 banknote retains the images of Dame Mary Gilmore and AB ‘Banjo’ Paterson and includes elements of their works in microtext.
New features also include the top-to-bottom window that contains multiple interactive elements, a patch with a rolling colour effect, fluorescent ink, raised printing and like all in the new series, includes a tactile feature to help the vision-impaired.
